Tasks

• • The Assistant Accountant will coordinate with and assist the senior accountant in managing day-to-day financial operations. This includes supporting tasks such as administering accounts payable and receivable, processing and verifying financial documents, assisting with payroll administration, and helping to reconcile bank statements. You will also aid in reviewing clerical work for accuracy, preparing routine payments and transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures. Additionally, you will help establish work schedules for support staff, assist in resolving minor work-related issues, and contribute to preparing financial reports. You will ensure the smooth operation of accounting systems, coordinate with other departments as needed, and provide support during internal audits and tax filing periods.
