Salary: $35.00 Hourly for 30 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Kingston, Ontario (1 vacancy)
We are a small and fast-growing cleaning company providing different cleaning services to residential, industrial, and commercial industries. We are currently looking to hire a Cleaning Supervisor with experience in this fast-growing industry.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role involves supervising cleaning activities, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in commercial establishments, and managing a team of cleaners.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cleaning staff
- Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met through regular site/facility inspections
- Recommend or arrange for additional maintenance services
- Set up stocks and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Assist and fill in for cleaners in performing duties when necessary
- Establish work schedules of cleaning crew staff members and manage sanitation windows
- Hire, train, and coach both new and existing sanitarians (coaching includes team performance feedback, corrective actions, and personnel issues)
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Education: Completion of high school
· Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in a supervisor role.
· Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
